Job Details
Requirements:

5 or more years of experience in public health program leadership.

Proficiency in utilizing epidemiologic data for decision-making.

Experience with managing evidence-based cessation programs.

Experience in program evaluation and accountability monitoring.

Experience with convening and collaborating with public health partners.

Experience in aligning program goals with national best practices.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:

Direct and manage evidence-based cessation programs statewide.

Convene and collaborate with public health partners and stakeholders.

Utilize epidemiologic data to inform program strategies.

Monitor progress and ensure accountability in reducing tobacco burden.

Align program goals with departmental priorities and best practices.

Strengthen statewide tobacco control and prevention efforts.

Shape statewide initiatives to improve population health outcomes.
