Payrate: $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
Summary:
Wireless Network Transport Engineer that will focus on the configuration and documentation of Ethernet backhaul routers and switches for wireless fronthaul and backhaul, and relevant IP information to support the configuration of RAN equipment on those routers. Experience with Nokia routers is preferred.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus. Sick leave and mobile phone reimbursement provided based on state or local law.

Summary:

Requirements:
- Nokia Certifications (NRS, SRA, MRP), CISCO Certifications (CCNA, CCIP, CCIE)
- Experience working with DWDM optical systems including Ciena 6500 and Fujitsu 9500
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent military experience
- Wireless voice and data service experience including CDMA & LTE
- Transport test equipment experience including JDSU & EXPO spectrum analyzers and path analyzers (OTDR)
- Experience with Nokia products such as: IXR-E. 7705, 7750-SR1, 7750-A8, 7750-SR7, 7750 SR12
- Knowledge of Nokia router translations tools (e.g., Service Portal)
- Previous experience using Granite/XNG, CND, or other circuit/path inventory system
Must have Skills:
- Previous experience as a Transport or WAN network engineer
- Advanced knowledge of routing and switching hardware/software.
- Understanding of 5G Virtualized RAN deployments
- Strong IP Knowledge, subnetting, routing protocol, MPLS, includes CLI interface hands-on
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience
