Job Title: Senior SSIS Developer
Location: Remote

Position Overview:
  • We are looking for an experienced Senior ETL SSIS Developer to join our team and contribute to critical enhancements of the Admission, Discharge, and Transfer (ADT) System.
  • This role will focus on developing and optimizing ETL solutions using Microsoft SSIS, with data sourced from Teradata, SQL Server, and CSV files.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare data integration and must possess a solid understanding of HL7 standards and HIPAA compliance due to the nature of the data involved.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance robust SSIS packages for ETL processes.
  • Extract and transform data from multiple sources, including CSV files, EDW (Teradata), and SQL Server.
  • Ensure high data quality, consistency, and performance across all ETL workflows.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Apply HIPAA best practices and ensure secure handling of PHI (Protected Health Information). Work with HL7 standards for data processing within healthcare systems.
  • Troubleshoot ETL issues and optimize performance across jobs and pipelines.
  • Document technical processes, workflows, and configurations for future support and scalability.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 8 years of experience with SQL Server, including at least 4 years of dedicated SSIS development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and SQL Server.
  • Proven expertise in handling CSV data sources (data ingestion, validation, transformation).
  • Solid experience working with healthcare data, including HL7 messaging standards and HIPAA compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and enterprise-level data environments.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize ETL processes.
  • Experience working with project teams in an Agile or Scrum environment
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Teradata
  • SSIS Developer with Healthcare experience (Hospital /preferably Health Insurance companies)
