Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lead UX Developer to join our Enterprise UX team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong engineering background, advanced front-end development expertise, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging design and development, mentoring team members, and driving innovation through emerging technologies, including AI tools. This position offers exceptional autonomy and the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to shape the future of our digital products.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor UX team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Champion the UX vision and implement industry best practices and innovative technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, researchers, and developers throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Transform visual designs and wireframes into clean, accessible, production-ready code using React and other front-end technologies.
  • Explore and implement AI-driven and automated approaches to front-end development.
  • Participate in user research, concept testing, and usability testing to optimize solutions based on user feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, including principles, components, and patterns.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and implement new tools and processes to advance team practices, particularly in the design-to-development handoff.
  • Present projects and progress to senior management effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, UX, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience in front-end development and UX design.
  • Advanced skills in CSS/SCSS, HTML5, Git, JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Familiarity with enterprise build and release cycles.
  • Deep understanding of design principles, visual design, and information architecture.
  • Experience contributing to and maintaining design systems.
  • Proven ability to implement new tools and processes, including AI-driven solutions.
  • Experience leading or mentoring teams and fostering technical growth.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Lean Startup methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to reconcile complex requirements.
