Description: Our client is currently seeking a Systems Engineer 4 requires - (ACTIVE SECRET CLEARNCE)
Title: System Engineer (ACTIVE SECRET CLEARNCE)
Location: Huntsville, AL/Colorado Spring, CO
Duration: 12+ Months
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor or Master of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
Minimum of 2 years of in system engineering (e.g. Systems, Design, Architecture, Integration, Requirements or Test)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance or an active Top Secret clearance highly desired
Growing understanding of DoD and missile defense command and control, battle management, architectures and communications system concepts, mission, and common system test and data analysis techniques
Experience with verification of requirements
Must have an understanding of System Engineering and iterative product development using Agile practices.
Experience in developing capability assessments, assessment objectives and related assessment plans and procedures.
Experience in scripting and automated test development is a plus.
This position requires exposure to a broad range of personnel within MDA and its associated sub-elements.
Experience using MATLAB, Python, JAVA, or similar language environment to develop analytical tools or perform numerical modeling of complex systems.
Demonstrated experience performing systems analysis or performance analysis including system concept trade studies, operational analysis, requirements analysis, feasibility analysis, system performance measures of effectiveness analysis (incl. technical performance measures), discrimination methods and techniques definition, probability analysis, or vehicle analysis.
Demonstrated experience Modeling or simulating missile defense elements or systems in similar domains (air combat, air defense, intercept of ballistic targets, intercept of non-ballistic targets, space vehicles, sub-orbital mechanics, etc.)
Experience with Agile Development processes is a plus

Education / Experience: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience.
