Innovation Data Scientist (Gen AI, Agent AI, ML)
Description of Work:
Client is seeking an experienced (6-7+ years) Innovation Data Scientist to develop and implement cutting-edge Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agent AI solutions. This contract role involves solving real-world challenges in banking and insurance, including:
Sales automation
Call center analytics
Collections optimization
Cognitive process automation
You'll be part of a team pushing the boundaries of AI to deliver transformative business outcomes.
Basic Qualifications: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.
Design and deploy scalable ML and Gen AI solutions
Very strong Python development skills including working with multiple libraries such as SciKit Learn, NLTK, Deep Learning and other frameworks such as Vanna.
Develop cognitive agents using RAG and Agentic AI frameworks
Collaborate across teams to solve industry-specific challenges
Build explainable, production-grade models aligned with business goals
Integrate solutions with industry platforms like Salesforce, Snowflake, and UiPath
Strong expertise in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Generative AI, RAG, and Agent AI
Proficiency with modern AI tools and frameworks: Amazon Bedrock, Hugging Face, Claude, LLaMA, OpenAI, Grok
Hands-on experience with code-gen tools like Cursor, Replit, and working on: Software code/test script generation and Multimodal and cognitive models
Familiarity with ecosystem platforms: AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Salesforce, FICO, UiPath, Genesis
Experience with orchestration and wiring tools: LangGraph, LangChain, etc.
Strong programming and software development skills
Demonstrated innovation mindset: start with the business outcome and work backward
Deep understanding of challenges in banking and insurance industries
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Prior involvement in full-cycle AI projects or data engineering initiatives
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
