V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an Application Engineer (ServiceNow) (Remote) for our premier client.
Education and Experience »
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (required).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in ITSM, ITOM modules.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Operations working with a variety of IT teams.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in ServiceNow platform.
- ServiceNow HAM Pro experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
- Understanding of ServiceNow best practices in coding, workflows, etc.
- Knowledge of ITIL & ITSM is preferred.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB best practices is highly desired including Common Services Data Model (CSDM), Discovery (Automated Horizontal Discovery), & Service Mapping (Automated Vertical Discovery).
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead administrative duties ties to the ServiceNow platform including upgrades, configuration changes, etc.
- Assist with developing code per best practices of ServiceNow for enhancements.
- Assist in monitoring the MID Servers to ensure adequate uptime & accurate configuration
- Day to day support of the ServiceNow platform and core capabilities.
- Help design & build integrations, alongside ServiceNow administrators with various systems (especially using Integration Hub).
- Ability to gather and document business requirements, write detailed user stories, and define acceptance criteria using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ensure the platform adheres to corporate Security Policy as well as ISO 27001/2 requirements.
- Install & maintains ServiceNow patches up to date.
- Learns the corporate ITSM processes to address Change Requests, Incidents, Problems, etc.
- Support process compliance and governance.
- Development of Dashboards and Reporting for the business.
