Job Title: Service Desk Technician
Job Type: 3.5 month contract
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Schedule: Onsite 5 days/week, Overnight
 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM, Thursday-Monday

About the Role
Our client, a leading fashion brand, is seeking a proactive Service Desk Technician to support their fulfillment and distribution center during peak season. This is a hands-on role where you’ll join a collaborative and long-tenured IT team, ensuring that the technology powering daily operations runs smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software, and network issues within the fulfillment and distribution center.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, mobile device, printer, and peripheral equipment problems.
  • Support warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and other operational technologies used in fulfillment workflows.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams or vendor partners as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and equipment inventory.
  • Collaborate closely with the Service Desk team to ensure consistent service quality and minimize downtime.
  • Assist with system updates, patches, and preventive maintenance tasks.

 
  • Must Have:
    • 3+ years of experience in Helpdesk or Service Desk (Service Desk preferred).
    • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and macOS environments.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Resourceful, fast learner, with the ability to engage directly with end users.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing environments.
    • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS/WES), RF scanning devices, or supply chain technology.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications.
