Vendor Contracts Specialist

Terms of Employment:
Contract, Five Months (Possible Extension)
This position is 100% remote. Candidates must be based in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area.

Overview:
Work with a leading firm in the healthcare industry on a crucial project to update their corporate mailing address across approximately 1,000 existing vendor agreements. This is a high-impact, short-term contract role vital to the company's operational compliance. You will
Review existing vendor contracts to identify address clauses.
Draft amendments to update mailing addresses on contracts.
Utilize SAP Ariba (or similar contract management systems) to locate and store contracts and executed amendments.
Coordinate with vendors, primarily via email, to secure agreement and execution of amendments.
Interpret contract language and ensure accurate and effective amendment drafting.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in contracts.
Substantial knowledge of contract structure, interpretation, and amendment drafting.
Experience with vendor contracts (not employment law or employee contracts).
Proficiency in navigating and utilizing contract management systems; experience with SAP Ariba, Oracle, or Workday is highly relevant.
Paralegal Certificate or equivalent certification (e.g., Contract Management Certification) OR a degree in paralegal studies.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Must reside in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area.

Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience with SAP Ariba.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, particularly if combined with relevant certifications.
Strong written communication skills for drafting amendments and email correspondence.
