Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to expand our market presence on the West Coast of the United States. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of sales or business development experience in industrial computing or embedded systems, a solid understanding of embedded boards and Box PCs, and familiarity with West Coast market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in embedded computing markets within the West Coast region.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key customers, distributors, and system integrators.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Engineering, Marketing, Technical Support) to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets through proactive pipeline management.
  • Represent DFI AMERICA at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years proven sales or business development experience in industrial computing or embedded systems.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded boards (SBCs, COM modules) and Box PCs, including technical specifications and market applications.
  • Established professional network and familiarity with industrial computing markets on the West Coast.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regionally (up to 30%).
  • Authorized to work in the United States; bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus.
