Job Description
Entity: Oracle America, Inc.
Job Duties: Deliver solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. Offer strategic technical support to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Create/utilize automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve/avoid customer issues. Serve as an expert member of the technical problem solving/problem avoidance team, routinely sought after to address extremely complex, critical customer issues. May telecommute. (385.20925)
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a technical analyst-related occupation. Position requires:
Qualifications
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years experience with Core products or 12 years experience with Applications products; technical degree i.e., BS Computer Science/Management Information Systems/Science/ Engineering/Math/Physics/Chemistry with a 3.0 GPA OR (for Applications) proven professional/ technical experience, i.e., demonstrating an understanding of Applications at a functional and technical level (preferably Oracle).

- Unix and Linux shell commands for configuring servers, tracking memory and disk usage, file management, and permissions;
- Programming Languages including Java, C, and Python;
- Dimensional data models, dimensional databases (including Essbase and Oracle OLAP), and data warehouse;
- Database skills in DB2, Oracle, Sybase, Informix, and MS SQL Server;
- Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) for resolution of problems related to installation;
- Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE);
- Enterprise-wide authentication and security services (LDAP, SSO, and SSL);
- Operating Systems: Linux and Windows; and
- Weblogic Application server administration and deployment of web applications on Weblogic.
