Job Summary
Join a team of talented hardware and software engineers who are creating new products within the aerospace industry. As a test engineer, you would be making a difference by ensuring the quality of products by blending mechanical fixturing, electrical engineering, and software engineering. Ensuring that software written for hardware using Linux engineering works accurately and hardware systems and remote devices. Additionally, visual inspection of hardware devices, soldering joints, reworking of electronic devices, circuit board design, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAGS, etc...

Job Summary
Join a team of talented hardware and software engineers who are creating new products within the aerospace industry. As a test engineer, you would be making a difference by ensuring the quality of products by blending mechanical fixturing, electrical engineering, and software engineering. Ensuring that software written for hardware using Linux engineering works accurately and hardware systems and remote devices. Additionally, visual inspection of hardware devices, soldering joints, reworking of electronic devices, circuit board design, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAGS, etc...
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of expertise in Python programming language
- 2+ years of experience with Linux operating systems
- C/C++
- Bash shell scripting
- Embedded systems experience
- Testing experience on both software and hardware devices down to the component level
- Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, JTAG's and similar
- Read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams
- Bachelors Degree in a technical area
- 3D mechanical design experience, with exposure taking designs to the CNC process
- Microcontrollers
- IC2, SPI
- Familiar with hardware and software program interactions
- Familiar with printed circuit board design, board layout, and fabrication
- Soldering
- Experience fabricating hardware fixtures
