Overview:
Join our Electric Powertrain Control Systems team as a Controls Engineer, responsible for the design, development, simulation, and validation of control systems for electric powertrain products. You'll develop scalable control features for various electrified architectures and work closely with a global team to meet performance and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop powertrain control features using model-based design (MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow).

  • Leverage virtual development for testing, optimization, and verification.

  • Validate control features via simulation, lab, and machine testing (CAN/Ethernet tools).

  • Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and document system behavior and performance.

  • Collaborate across teams to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.

Technical Skills:

  • Model-based controls (MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow)

  • Virtual product development

  • Powertrain, hybrid, or electromechanical control systems

  • CAN tools (e.g., Vector CANape, CANalyzer, ATI Vision)

  • Lab/machine testing and software validation

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Clear communication and technical leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field

  • 5+ years of relevant experience (or 2+ years with advanced degree)
