Installation Engineering Technician

Location: Denver, CO, US

Salary Range: $60,000- $80,000 Annually

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver product service and support to Client client's through phone and on-site engagements within the branch area.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, subcontractors, and end-users to facilitate professional, safe, and efficient installations of Client products.
  • Remotely liaise with Technical Service Manager, Installation Manager, and Customer Support team at Clients Lillington, NC facility.
  • Mentor and train less experienced installation and service technicians.
  • Document and maintain project records with installation and support material data.
  • Independently manage assignments remotely from the factory.

Minimum Requirements:

  • PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) expertise is a significant advantage. Possess a two-year degree in Electrical/Electronic Theory, Plant Maintenance, or similar; or hold two years of relevant field experience.
  • Valid U.S. driver s license and capability to obtain a U.S. passport for international travel.
  • Ability to travel 90% of the time.
  • Strong flair in electrical skills, low voltage electronics, and high voltage electrical theory.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend electrical schematics.
  • Proven electrical circuit troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent mechanical installation skills encompassing layout, assembly, and tie-in.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding mechanical and construction drawings.
  • Experience using hand tools like cordless drills, hammers, and levels.
  • Proficient telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong Microsoft Office skills, PC, and Internet Explorer knowledge.
  • Customer-centric approach.
  • Able to routinely lift 50 lbs.
  • Capable of passing frequent OSHA, background, and drug screening.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (speaking and writing) is a plus, though not mandatory.
