Location: 100% Remote (Maybe some occasional travel), and it will require EST hours

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Strategic Sourcing (WSS) Consultant to serve as a Functional Project Manager for a full lifecycle WSS implementation and Supply Chain Management (SCM) optimization effort. The ideal candidate brings strong Workday Strategic Sourcing and core platform expertise, deep procurement and sourcing knowledge, and the ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders to drive process improvement and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end deployment of Workday Strategic Sourcing while optimizing existing SCM functionality.

Collaborate with SMEs and Sustainment teams across Supplier Onboarding, Supplier Master Data Management, Supplier Contracts, Sourcing Projects, Sourcing Events, and Negotiation Analysis.

Conduct discovery and design sessions to capture detailed business requirements across sourcing and SCM domains.

Configure WSS and Workday tenant environments, including initial setup in test instances and the Workday Implementation tenant.

Co-develop test scenarios, test scripts, and user stories; support user validation and UAT activities.

Manage configuration migration across test, sandbox, and production tenants in alignment with client tenant management practices.

Serve as a subject matter expert for WSS, SCM, and Source-to-Contract (S2C) processes to help modernize supplier management, improve contract workflows, and optimize sourcing operations.

Partner with business stakeholders to enhance process efficiency, standardization, and overall system adoption.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience implementing and supporting Workday Strategic Sourcing (required).
  • Strong functional understanding of SCM, procurement, and Source-to-Contract (S2C) processes.
  • Hands-on experience configuring Workday tenant environments and managing configuration migrations.
  • Experience facilitating discovery, design, and testing activities for enterprise systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.
