Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team, playing a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience working with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing business needs, translating requirements into technical specifications, and ensuring seamless integration of business goals with technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Conduct thorough requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and into technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, and Technical User Stories.
  • Process Mapping & Improvement: Analyze and document current processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and project managers to ensure alignment on project scope and deliverables.
  • Solution Design: Work closely with development teams to design solutions that align with business requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with project standards.
  • Testing & Validation: Define test cases, participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate developed solutions against business requirements.
  • Project Support: Provide ongoing support during the deployment and post-deployment phases, assisting in issue resolution and ensuring a smooth transition for end-users.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on technical analysis and software development projects.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Programming & Scripting: Familiarity with SQL, Java and JavaScript, or other relevant languages.
  • Technical Tools: Experience with JIRA/ADO, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation tools.
  • Data Analysis & Modeling: Proficiency in data modeling, process mapping, and working with databases.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: ECBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, or relevant certifications in Business Analysis.
  • Industry Experience: Familiarity with Tolling/Collections/Finance industry is a plus.
  • Project Management: Basic understanding of project management methodologies and experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
