DevOps Engineer II

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote)

Duration: Long Term

Experience Required

10+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

3+ years of experience in source code management and administration.

Hands-on expertise with version control systems (VCS) such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, ADI, and Subversion (SVN).

Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and integrating VCS into development pipelines.

Solid knowledge of security best practices in source code management.

Deep understanding of branching strategies, versioning, and merge conflict resolution in GitHub and ADO.

Proficiency in GitHub Actions for building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or other relevant languages.

Knowledge of code quality tools and practices.

Ability to configure and implement new tools as needed.

Broad technical background across scripting, programming, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), containerization, and orchestration.

Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining data integrity.

Self-starter with the ability to design and build processes from scratch.

Good understanding of networking, security, and cloud/on-prem infrastructure best practices.

Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools for applications and infrastructure.

Preferred:

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
