Job Description
This person will be a visionary yet execution-focused leader at the intersection of product, AI, and large-scale relevance systems. The AI Product Leader is skilled at driving end-to-end execution, translating vision into strategy, and strategy into impactful product roadmaps. With hands-on knowledge of Ad Tech, Search, or Recommendations, they bring valuable experience in personalization, ranking, targeting, and relevance - key to building intelligent, data-driven user experiences.
The AI Product Leader will understand the trade-offs between performance, latency, fairness, and monetization, and can partner cross-functionally to align algorithms with product strategy.
They're not just guiding the "what" and the "why," but also collaborating on the "how" - ensuring that solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with long-term goals. Their hybrid strength in product thinking and applied ML enables them to drive measurable outcomes while pushing the frontier of user and business value.
Responsibilities:
* Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap at the intersection of ML and user experience
* Drive cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, data science, and design to deliver intelligent and scalable systems
* Partner closely with AI/ML teams to ensure product strategies align with algorithmic capabilities and ethical considerations (fairness, performance, latency, and monetization)
* Guide the "what" and "why" of product direction while deeply engaging in the "how" - ensuring technical feasibility and long-term scalability
* Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from customer discovery and market analysis to execution and iteration
* Translate complex user and business needs into elegant, data-driven solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience as a product leadership, ideally in AI/ML-driven domains
* Proven track record of building large-scale relevance, personalization, or targeting systems
* Deep understanding of machine learning principles and experience working closely with data science and ML engineering teams
* Demonstrated ability to balance competing objectives (e.g., latency vs. monetization vs. fairness)
* Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
* Experience in Ad Tech, Search, or Recommender Systems is highly desirable
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
