Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Coupa Configuration Consultant to play a key role in our SAP to Workday migration. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Coupa's financial and accounting modules, with a strong understanding of how to configure and integrate Coupa to support a Workday environment. This role will be critical in ensuring a seamless transition of our financial processes, including a particular focus on reconfiguring Coupa to align with Workday's financial data structures and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coupa Configuration: Lead the re-configuration of Coupa's financial and accounting modules (e.g., Invoicing, Payments, Tax, Expenses) to align with Workday's financial and accounting data structures and business processes.
  • Workday Integration: Work closely with the Workday implementation team to ensure seamless and accurate integration points between Coupa and Workday, particularly for data related to general ledger, suppliers, and payments.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with finance, accounting, and procurement teams to gather and document business requirements for the Coupa re-configuration.
  • System Testing: Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts for the re-configured Coupa environment, ensuring all financial processes function correctly and integrate as designed with Workday.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues, working with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Coupa configurations, processes, and integration touchpoints.
  • Change Management: Support change management efforts by assisting in the training of end-users and preparing them for the new processes.
  • Data Migration: Participate in data mapping and migration activities to ensure a smooth transition of financial data from SAP to Workday and its subsequent alignment in Coupa.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Coupa Configuration Consultant or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Coupa's financial and accounting modules, including but not limited to Coupa Pay, Invoicing, Tax, and Expense Management.
  • Prior experience working on a Workday Financials implementation or migration project is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of standard accounting principles and financial processes (e.g., procure-to-pay, accounts payable, general ledger).
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP and/or Workday.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coupa Certified Professional or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience in the QSR, retail, or franchise industry.
  • Familiarity with integration tools and methodologies (e.g., APIs, SFTP).
  • Experience with a global implementation project.
