Role: Healthcare IT Infrastructure Project Manager Healthcare
Location: Redwood City, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and deliver IT infrastructure projects (network, server, storage, cloud, data center) within defined scope, timeline, and budget.
Oversee integration of infrastructure with healthcare-specific applications (EHR/EMR systems, clinical apps, patient portals, compliance systems).
Collaborate with application teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure end-to-end project alignment.
Drive vendor coordination for hardware, software, and service delivery.
Identify project risks and define mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.).
Manage stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies.
Lead project documentation including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Promote process improvements and standardization across infrastructure and healthcare application projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
7 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure project management.
Demonstrated understanding of healthcare applications and workflows (EHR/EMR, HL7, HIPAA compliance).
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure domains: servers, networks, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), storage, backup/recovery, monitoring tools.
Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Service Now, etc.).
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
