Cleanroom Assembly Technician


A global leader supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented Cleanroom Assembly Technician to join its production team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical assembly, follows blueprints with precision, and takes pride in producing high-quality components in a controlled cleanroom environment. Your work will directly support technology that powers some of the world's most innovative industries.

Hours & Pay


  • Pay Rate: $18.00-$18.50 per hour

  • Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

  • Training & Orientation: First week, 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.


What You'll Do


  • Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to work instructions and blueprints

  • Perform leak testing and standard functional testing to ensure product quality

  • Operate hand tools and power tools to complete precision assemblies

  • Read and follow assembly instructions, parts lists, and specifications

  • Conduct minor troubleshooting and support basic testing activities

  • Inspect assemblies throughout the process to verify quality standards are met

  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership on the production floor

  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance within a cleanroom manufacturing environment

  • Support cross-training initiatives and assist with additional production tasks as needed


What You'll Need


  • High school diploma or GED; technical coursework or associate degree preferred

  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment

  • Basic mechanical assembly skills and comfort with repetitive tasks

  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions, blueprints, and schematics

  • Experience with cable or harness assembly is a plus

  • Familiarity with leak testing, subassembly testing, or inspection is preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use standard software applications

  • Math skills and willingness to cross-train

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs independently (more with assistance)
