Network Security Analyst

THIS IS AN ONSITE WORK POSITION

Position: Network Security Analyst

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience

Required Experience:

1. IT work experience with demonstrated knowledge in architecture design, software development, database management systems and systems integration in multi-platform environments.
2. Experience drafting policies, disaster recovery and continuity of operations plans.
3. Experience in information gathering sessions for technical requirements and leading technical tabletop exercises.
4. Experience assisting in developing Continuity of Operation and Disaster Recovery plans for all identified agency systems.
5. Experience performing research, policy creation, conduct tabletop exercises and support staff in transferring knowledge in these areas.

Responsibilities :

1. Establishing and continuously enhancing the Continuity of Operations (COOP) programs, plans and processes for the department in conjunction with the Information Security Manager.
2. Establishing and continuously enhancing the Disaster programs (DR), plans and processes for the department in conjunction with the Information Security Manager.
3. Establishing and continuously enhancing the Risk Management programs, plans, and processes in conjunction with the Information Security Manager.
4. Research mandates, regulations and rules for Information Security requirements for the agency.
5. Conduct interviews and information gathering meetings.
6. Lead tabletop exercises relating to COOP, Risk Management and DR in conjunction with the Information Security Manager.
7. Establish applicable security policies and best practices.
