Android Developer (Senior) - 64681

We have an immediate long-term contract opportunity for an Android Developer to work onsite 5 days/week in Columbus, OH.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of hands-on Android development experience with expertise in:

    • Languages: Kotlin, Java

    • Frameworks: Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flows, RxJava, Retrofit

    • Tools: Android Studio, Dagger

    • Architecture: Clean Architecture, MVVM, MVP

    • Testing: JUnit, UI testing frameworks

  • Strong background in multi-module apps and dependency injection

  • Experience with Android security best practices

  • Proven ability to lead technical solutions and mentor junior developers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin/Jetpack Compose

  • Implement Clean Architecture and MVVM/MVP patterns

  • Write unit tests and ensure code quality through best practices

  • Optimize apps for performance, memory, and battery efficiency

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features

  • Stay updated with latest Android trends and architecture patterns

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps

  • Knowledge of KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform)

  • Familiarity with Firebase services

  • Experience with Compose Multiplatform
