Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled and strategic-minded Senior Manager of Insights and Analytics to join our dynamic Global Sales Compensation team. This role will play a crucial part in driving business success through advanced analytics, data-driven insights, and strategic collaboration across teams. Your Impact

  • Conduct advanced analytics and modeling to analyze sales compensation plan performance, conduct scenario analysis, and present the results to senior leadership
  • Understand the interplay of key data attributes such as employee data, sales territories, quotas, and compensation data
  • Generate comprehensive sales performance reports and self-service dashboards to enable sales leadership make effective decisions
  • Partner with cross-functional team members to construct cohesive, data-driven narratives addressing compensation related challenges
  • Work closely with data engineers to enhance data systems and algorithms driving business performance

Your Experience

  • 5+ years of related experience in an Insights and Analytics role at a large corporation - Experience with Sales Operations, Sales Compensation or FP&A is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent required, an MBA is a plus or equivalent military experience required
  • Has experience of using standard analytical tools, like Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Anaplan, SAP, Workday etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a capacity for handling ambiguity
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage, model, and interpret large amounts of data is essential
  • Ability to communicate cross functionally at multiple levels in the organization, including Sales Leadership, Finance, IT, and Operations
  • Critical Thinking - Ability to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $159,800/yr to $258,500/yr.
