Top 3 Required Skills

  • Oracle Exadata Administration (8+ yrs) Performance tuning, troubleshooting, and backup/recovery in large-scale environments.
  • IBM DB2 z/OS Administration (8+ yrs) Strong background in mainframe DB2 engineering and optimization.
  • Snowflake Database Engineering (8+ yrs) Experience supporting cloud data warehouses with AWS integration.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Senior Database Engineer with 8+ years of experience across Oracle Exadata, IBM DB2 z/OS, and Snowflake.
  • Demonstrated strength in database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting for enterprise-scale systems.
  • Hands-on with Windows, Linux, and UNIX platforms for database deployment and management.
  • Strong knowledge of security, backup/recovery strategies, and database monitoring.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • AWS or other cloud database infrastructure experience.
  • Scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Exadata and Snowflake certification.
  • Team Information
  • Aligned to Infrastructure Managed Services / Technology Services business unit.
  • Supports enterprise-level database engineering and performance operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and conduct advanced performance tuning on complex database environments.
  • Manage all aspects of database security, disaster recovery, and backup for large database management systems.
  • Provide expert administration and monitoring across Windows, Linux, and UNIX server platforms.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to implement high-availability database solutions.
