Job Description:
  • The Candidatelp Desk Analyst will support VSP's new job applicant background check and employment background check program that uses criminal justice data to help employers assess if a job applicant is qualified for a position or if an employee remains qualified after the employee was involved with a criminal justice event.
  • The incumbent will interact with employers by email, telephone and other means to set up and maintain employer accounts.
  • This includes determining if an employer is qualified to have a VSP account, set up the account, establish account users, assist with getting users access to the employer ePortal, update account information and user information, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Advanced computer skills are required that aligns with the Job Description.
  • Ability to multitask and to determine root cause of problems and implement solutions, In addition, customer relations skills; good verbal and written communication skills; and proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
