Title: AI Technical Support Specialist
Location: Frisco, TX

Description:

The AI Center of Excellence is seeking a semi-technical support specialist to help operationalize and sustain two critical enterprise AI platforms: the AI Gateway (our internal reverse proxy for LLM APIs) and GitHub Copilot (our IDE-integrated AI coding assistant). This role is part of our AI enablement initiative and will serve as a direct support and enhancement partner to our developer community.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first line of support for developers using GitHub Copilot and the AI Gateway.
  • Review and troubleshoot API usage errors, model connectivity issues, and tooling integration problems.
  • Manage user provisioning and access control requests.
  • Coordinate with platform owners; Maintain documentation.
  • Communicate via Teams and ticketing systems.
  • Contribute to lightweight tooling enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical support or engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git and VS Code.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Primary Skills: AI Gateway & GitHub Copilot
Secondary Skills: Python scripting and REST APIs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GitHub Copilot or similar AI tools; Understanding of LLMs and model governance; Large enterprise experience; Proxy tools like Apigee or Kong.
