Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and implement PLC-based control systems to improve automation and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain HMI interfaces for process monitoring and control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into production systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades on existing automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and best practices.
- Assist in commissioning new equipment and optimizing existing processes.
- Provide technical support and training for maintenance and operations teams.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and HMI development.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
- Understanding of electrical systems, including wiring (120/240/480V).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for industrial automation.
- Preferred: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, Professional Engineer (PE) license, and project management experience.
