Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Benefits team is responsible for the overall strategy, design, and management of benefits and resources to attract, retain, and develop top talent. The Manager, Benefits Data Management and Reporting is a key member of the Benefits Delivery team, playing leading and partnering roles to support the operations and administration of Marriott's benefits plans and programs.
This includes maintaining ongoing plan operations to ensure high levels of performance, associate engagement, experience and satisfaction, as well as ensuring the plans are administered in accordance with policies and procedures as established by Marriott. The Manager will provide ongoing operational support for benefit programs, with a primary focus on systems, data management and reporting. This includes ensuring that benefits data are accurate, and reporting, systems and interfaces operate efficiently. The Manager will liaison with staff internally and externally, including Marriott's third-party administration vendors, and internal departments, such as Information Technology, Payroll Services and the Legal Department.

The salary range for this position is $93,400 to $118,900 annually. CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years in benefits or related role, including 2 years of professional experience with technical analysis, design, and implementation and experience in querying and analyzing data.
- Experience working with an Enterprise HCMS and an outsourced benefits administrative partner
- High level proficiency with Excel, including ability to work with formulas and pivot tables
- Strong analytical abilities, critical thinking skills and attention to detail demonstrated through prior work experience
Preferred
- Specific experience with Oracle HCM, Alight TBA, and/or WTW's benefits administration solution
- Experience with OTBI and Oracle Analytics Cloud
- Project management experience
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Responsible for benefit plan administration and operations activities for a variety of benefits, including:
- Use Excel and other tools to manipulate and analyze data for reporting and decision-making purposes, auditing data and ensuring alignment among all systems and organization structures.
- Identify opportunities to automate data management processes and implement solutions to improve efficiency
- Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features.
- Document business requirements and ensure that system configurations and maintenance table updates are executed accurately and validated to align with business needs and expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and discrepancies related to benefits data, processes, and workflows, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Maintain Oracle tables and collaborate with benefits administrators to support complex and variable benefits eligibility
- Understand benefits regulations as needed to complete federal, state and local required filings (e.g. ACA reporting)
- Lead benefits cost modeling including annual support for complex subsidy structure
- Partnership with internal teams, including finance, legal, and payroll on process and policy oversight to ensure compliance, accurate reporting of benefits and support for ongoing benefits operations.
- Compile and complete survey responses using available internal data sources, working closely with team members to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
- Additional duties may be assigned to support team and organizational goals
