Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Informatica MDM Consultant to lead and support enterprise data management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Master Data Management (MDM) strategy, design, and implementation using Informatica MDM tools, and will play a critical role in ensuring data consistency, quality, and governance across systems and business domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support end-to-end Informatica MDM solutions, including data modeling, data integration, and stewardship.

  • Lead MDM architecture and implementation across multiple domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, etc.).

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Configure and customize Informatica MDM Hub, including match & merge rules, trust scores, hierarchy management, and workflows.

  • Work closely with ETL teams to ensure seamless data integration between source systems and MDM Hub.

  • Define and enforce data quality standards, governance rules, and validation logic.

  • Develop data stewardship and data governance workflows using Informatica Data Director (IDD).

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize MDM processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers and analysts.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) for data privacy and protection.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Management with 5+ years in Informatica MDM (v10.x or above).

  • Deep expertise in MDM architecture, configuration, and customization.

  • Strong proficiency in Informatica MDM Hub, IDD, SIF APIs, Match/Merge logic, Hierarchy Management, and Trust Framework.

  • Experience with data quality tools like Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).

  • Solid understanding of ETL concepts and experience with tools like Informatica PowerCenter or similar.

  • Experience integrating MDM solutions with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.

  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for data profiling and transformation.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Healthcare, Financial Services, or Retail domains.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native MDM or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

  • Certifications in Informatica MDM, Data Governance, or Cloud Platforms.
