Job Details
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support financial accounting and controlling modules across implementation, enhancement, and support projects. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise, hands-on configuration experience, and the ability to collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support SAP FICO implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
Configure and customize SAP FICO modules (FI GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, CO-PA, CO-PC, Cost Center Accounting, etc.)
Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications
Perform end-to-end testing: unit testing, integration testing, regression testing
Troubleshoot issues and provide production support
Integrate FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HR)
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
Develop and maintain documentation for functional designs, test cases, and configuration
Collaborate with ABAP teams for custom development and enhancements
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO
Strong understanding of financial processes: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting
Proven experience in SAP FICO configuration and integration
Experience with S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and month-end closing
Experience with Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) and Product Costing
Ability to write and review functional specifications
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Central Finance
Exposure to FIORI apps
Knowledge of tax configurations and global financial processes
Experience with SAP integration tools (IDocs, BAPIs)
SAP FICO certification is a plus
