Job Description
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or Electrical Engineering required (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of professional IT experience, including
2+ years of experience in mobile application development, cloud services, or web technologies
Experience with software and hardware integration, testing, and deployment in enterprise environments

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree

Required Qualifications:
Designs and develops cloud-based (AWS) applications using microservices, Spring Boot and Angular as the front-end platform
Experienced in practicing industry-standard DevOps development processes
Designs and documents functionality through use cases, business process flows, UI design, and API modeling as necessary
Works on several development initiatives concurrently and provides subject matter expertise on portal workflow and identity management business processes, to include API and services
Develop software using team-defined style and coding standards
Design, build and deploy code using lower environments and through a fully automated CI/CD process (GitHub)

Required Technical Skills:
Must have: Knowledge of AWS is a must-have requirement
Microservices using Springboot framework (Written in Java Language), RestAPI, AWS
Expert: Object-oriented programming (Java)
Intermediate: Developing enterprise and client-facing Java applications
Intermediate: Cloud infrastructure (K8s, RDS, VPC, Linux OS Administration)
Intermediate: Hands-on development experience with XML GUI styling (for Android)
Intermediate: Interface with REST Web Services and JSON/XML
Intermediate: GitHub Enterprise, including GitHub Actions
Intermediate: Hands-on experience with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Calandra)
Intermediate: Writing API/Front-end test cases. Postman or SOAP UI
Intermediate: Performance testing using JMeter

Responsibilities
Design and develop native mobile applications (Android/iOS) and cloud-based solutions (AWS)
Define and document functional designs using use cases, business process flows, UI designs, and UML/API modeling
Lead or contribute to multiple concurrent development initiatives, providing subject matter expertise on mobile and web applications, especially in legal or enterprise portal implementations
Work in a microservices environment using Spring Boot (Java) for backend and Angular for frontend development
Participate in code reviews, prototype demos, and application support activities
Define and support the integration of emerging technologies in automotive and enterprise environments
Serve as a technical lead and primary point of contact for issue resolution, guidance, and knowledge sharing across engineering teams
Provide internal consultancy on best practices and architectural guidance for software lifecycle development
Maintain up-to-date technical and non-technical documentation across areas of responsibility
Analyze critical business processes and recommend technical solutions or process optimizations
Develop and monitor performance metrics, ensuring service levels and agreements are met or exceeded
Manage and maintain password management portals, developing new features and supporting existing functionality
Perform defect triage, identify root causes, and implement solutions
Ensure all development work follows CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent
Support development and deployment within AWS cloud infrastructure, including services like RDS, VPC, and EC2
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
