Responsibilities
Analyse, visualize, and interpret data from Pharmacy Systems to provide business insights to pharmacy leaders.
- Assist in evaluating proposals for data collection through an understanding of the pharmacy business and applications needs.
- Assist in planning and implementing activities required for the collection and analysis of data related to pharmacy business needs.
- Maintain data collection systems (e.g., databases and spreadsheets) by troubleshooting problems, providing user support and education, and promoting integration with other systems.
- Develop and run queries; utilize data to support assigned business areas and organize them in a format for ease of review and use.
- Understand business processes and how data is created in pharmacy software systems to provide insights to business leaders on how to improve patient access, satisfaction, and cost.
- Conduct complicated and detailed analyses of data for pharmacy business functions.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
Work Experience:
- 3 years of experience preferred.
- Experience working with data from pharmacy systems or electronic health records.
- Experience in data and analytics tools, such as SQL, Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery, and Tableau.
- Experience creating insights for business leaders.
- Strong background in analyzing data and providing insights through understanding of complex data.
