The Ford Motor Credit Company team helps put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. By partnering with dealerships, we provide financing, personalized service and professional expertise to five thousand dealers and more than four million customers in over one hundred countries around the world.

The Senior Salesforce Architect will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable, high-performing solutions on the Salesforce platform that meet our business requirements. You will be responsible for leading projects from conception through completion, working closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that our Salesforce environment supports our strategic goals.

What you'll do...
  • Design and implement robust Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and are scalable, maintainable, and performant.
  • Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect, and deliver complex solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce technology and its capabilities, keeping up to date with new features and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members and stakeholders on Salesforce technology and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain architectural strategies, support documentation, and guidelines.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Lead efforts to integrate Salesforce with other systems and platforms within the organization.


You'll have....

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Architect or in a similar role.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, MuleSoft, and Salesforce DX.
  • Proven ability to design and implement high-quality, scalable, and extendable Salesforce solutions.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead project teams and interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.


Even better, you may have....
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect) preferred.
  • Master's degree in computer science/engineering, Data science or related field.
  • Ability to negotiate & influence stakeholders for driving strategic solutions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizing, and problem-solving skills
  • Good presentation skills with ability to communicate architectural proposals to diverse audiences (user groups, stakeholders, and senior management).
  • Experience in Banking and Financial Regulatory Reporting space.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced & dynamic environment.
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments. .
