One of our staffing partners is looking for a data scientist for their financial client. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to grow their skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Salary $55k-$70k
You will assist in analyzing data, building predictive models, and extracting insights to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data for analysis
- Develop machine learning models and statistical analyses
- Visualize data and present insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to improve processes
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Basic understanding of machine learning and statistical analysis
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development
- Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)
- Ability to optimize database performance for efficient querying
- Understanding of Python or R for data analytics and automation
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (GPT, Llama, PaLM, or similar)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face libraries
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience working with large datasets and databases
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Salary offered $55-70k per year
