Job Description

The Cable Entertainment (Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, and USA) social marketing team is seeking an insights-driven, social media savvy Manager who loves both unscripted and scripted content. This ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable about social analytics, strategy and creative and is also very well-versed in platform tools. They are experienced in sharing performance data including both social listening and campaign data, turning them into actionable insights. They will use these findings to develop social strategy and content for higher levels of engagement and growth, both in real time and for the longer-term.

This individual is also experienced in outside the box social media strategies, building out timely content calendars and last-minute planning pivots while understanding the priorities of holistic marketing campaigns. They also understand how to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including brand, creative, media, and press teams as well as external partners.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Share social listening and sentiment reports for programming across all cable entertainment networks.
  • Share both short term and long-term campaign performance results, turning them into actionable insights.
  • Gather competitive research in the social media space.
  • Plan, create and execute content strategy in support of the show and social goals on all platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and new emerging platforms.
  • Develop and implement a social marketing strategy that focuses on driving tune-in, awareness, and buzz while also delivering on key social KPIs.
  • Build and maintain relationships, processes and project timelines with internal teams across Creative, Media, Brand, Talent Relations and Communications, as well as with external partners to ensure proper execution of social strategies and business driving priorities.
  • Ideate, provide feedback and coordinate social concepts and deliverables that support marketing campaigns and sales opportunities across all cable entertainment properties.
  • Manage the day-to-day coverage of our show's social support throughout the pre-premiere, premiere day and in-season phases from strategy thru execution and performance.
  • Work directly with the Director, Social Marketing to oversee owned social handles to ensure output aligns with established objectives and KPIs.
  • Partner with the internal Media team to fulfill paid social campaigns.
  • Potential opportunity to provide social marketing support across the other NBCU brands.


Qualifications

  • 4+ years of social media marketing experience
  • A clear written and verbal communicator who can interact with all teams at the organization
  • Intimate understanding of social media space and emerging trends
  • Fluent in social media analytics tools like Dash Hudson, TalkWalker, Sprout Social, amongst others- translating data into actionable insights
  • Proficient in PowerPoint
  • Well-versed in social media content ideation, content creation, copywriting, and publishing
  • Attention to detail, ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
  • Willingness to work long hours and on weekends with short notice
  • Must be located within commutable distance of NBCU offices in NYC

Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 (bonus eligible)
