RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chico, CA that is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who will be the Program Lead for various mechanical and/or electrical asset programs related to powerhouse equipment.
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for engagement with stakeholders and ensuring the strategic plans for these programs are aligned with Business Operational requirements as well as regulatory and compliance requirements. They will also be responsible for developing and documenting strategic plans associated with the Powerhouse Asset Family within the Powerhouse Asset Management Plan.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of experience in project engineering, design, and construction
* Track record of taking ownership of problems and their solutions
* Experience related to large / major rotating equipment, large pressure valves, water delivery
* Utility experience of some kind
* PowerGen/Fossil/steam/turbine is nice to have
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
