Our client is hiring a ServiceNow HRSD Product Owner on a long-term contract basis.

Work Model: Remote

Summary: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow HRSD Product Owner to lead the functional design and implementation of our new HR service management solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both the technical and functional aspects of the ServiceNow platform, with a proven track record of delivering complex HR technology projects. As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that the delivered solution meets the needs of our HR organization and employees.

Responsibilities:
Requirements gathering & Backlog Management
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and ROI.
  • Align HRSD capabilities with business strategy and objectives.
  • Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with HR leaders, process owners, and end-users to gather requirements and translate these into actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.

Quality & Go-Live
  • Ensure the solution is tested and validated against business requirements.
  • Develop and execute a plan for user acceptance testing (UAT).

Required Qualifications:
Core Experience
  • ServiceNow Experience: Minimum of 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
  • HRSD Implementation: Proven experience with at least two full-cycle implementations of ServiceNow HRSD, including case and knowledge management, and employee service center. Experience with Life Cycle Events preferred.
  • Employee Workflows: High level understanding and practical experience in designing and implementing complex employee workflows.

Specific Job Skills
  • Agile & Scrum: Proficient in Agile methodologies and experience acting as a ServiceNow Business Analyst, Business Process Consultant, or Product Owner in a Scrum or similar framework.
  • Business Analysis: Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

ServiceNow Certifications:
  • Certified System Administrator (CSA) - preferred
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - HRSD - highly preferred
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

Pay Rate: $110 - $120
