Job Details
Job Description:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Informatics, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
- Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and SQL.
- Experience with NLP, LLMs, and knowledge graph techniques for clinical text understanding.
- Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, and X12 278 data exchange formats.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, SageMaker).
- Strong understanding of data privacy, HIPAA compliance, and model explainability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building AI tools integrated into EHR workflows (Epic, Cerner, Meditech).
- Exposure to payer decision support systems such as InterQual or MCG.
- Background in clinical informatics or healthcare interoperability engineering.
- Familiarity with transformer-based LLMs (e.g., BERT, GPT, MedPaLM) and NLP-based reasoning models for medical text.
