Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Solution Architect with strong hands-on expertise in AWS and Databricks, and

experience in

  • Strong Databricks experience
  • Solid understanding of Data Pricing Models
  • Good exposure to the Insurance Finance domain

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead architecture and design of a centralized pricing database for actuarial modeling.
  • Define the data strategy and integration roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Architect scalable data ingestion and transformation solutions using AWS, Databricks, SQL, and CData.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and performance optimization.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the offshore development team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Databricks, CData
  • Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL (Snowflake is a plus)
  • ETL/Data Integration: Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Airflow
  • APIs & Microservices: RESTful APIs, JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI
  • DevOps/CI-CD: Git, Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Other: Data Governance, Unity Catalog, AWS deployment tools
