Job Description

The tax team at Telemundo manages all tax-related matters for all Telemundo Enterprises, including broadcast & cable networks, linear, digital & streaming studios, and all 31 owned & operated TV stations across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Job Duties:

  • Sr. Tax Analyst supports all tax reporting and compliance functions for Telemundo Enterprises.
  • Preparation and/or filing of applicable U.S. federal, state, and foreign corporate income tax returns.
  • Preparation and/or filing of sales & use tax returns in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Preparation of infrastructure tax credit reports.
  • Preparation of transfer pricing reports.
  • Preparation of U.S. federal, state and foreign income tax provision for all quarterly closings and various estimate sessions as per FASB ASC 740.
  • Documentation and reconciliation of tax accounts.
  • Support in research and documentation of tax issues.
  • Support in special projects/reports as required.
  • Support in implementation of tax planning initiatives.
  • Support in tax-related audits.
  • Administration of tax notices and correspondence from tax authorities
  • Support in SOX / FIN48 processes.
  • Maintenance of tax filings & projects calendar.
  • Support in continuous automation initiatives and technology enhancements


Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
  • CPA and/or master's degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years tax experience in a public accounting environment (Big 4 preferred)
  • Strong tax technical skills.
  • Strong computer skills, accounting & tax software applications (Microsoft Office 365, SAP, OneSource Tax Provision, CorpTax).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Additional Requirements:

  • This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
