Overview

We are seeking an S/4HANA Grants Management Consultant with deep experience in end-to-end project delivery, including requirements gathering, configuration, integration, and testing. This role involves direct engagement with stakeholders, master data design, and ensuring smooth integration across related functional areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops to gather and define customer business requirements for Grants Management (GM).

  • Provide guidance and support for master data design and its corresponding integrations.

  • Configure GM components, including:

    • Master data

    • Derivation rules

    • Budget execution

    • Availability control

    • Billing

    • Indirect costs

    • Pass-through functionality

  • Develop functional specifications and support testing for GM-related business processes and integration scenarios.

  • Formulate, maintain, and execute test scripts for Grants Management processes.

  • Facilitate discussions for year-end closing activities.

  • Ensure integration between Grants Management and Funds Management, Procurement, HXM, Concur, and other functional areas.

  • Leverage GM standard reports and develop custom analytical queries.

  • (Preferred) Create process flows using Signavio Process Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong S/4HANA project experience with a focus on Grants Management.

  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops and engage with business stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of Grants Management business processes and integration touchpoints.

  • Public Sector project experience preferred, especially state and local government engagements.
