Job Overview:
The SAP P2P Lead Consultant is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end Procure to Pay processes within SAP, with a strong emphasis on system integration, cloud capabilities, and process standardization. The role includes overseeing functional design, driving system configuration, supporting transformation projects (e.g., S/4HANA), and aligning business needs with technical solutions using tools like JIRA for process mapping and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the analysis, design, implementation, and optimization of SAP P2P (Procure to Pay) solutions, including configuration of SAP MM and integration with other modules (FI, WM, SD).
Oversee and manage full-cycle SAP implementations and rollouts, including S/4HANA and SAP BTP-enabled solutions.
Design and manage integrations using IDocs, APIs, and middleware tools (e.g., SAP PO/CPI) between SAP and third-party systems (e.g., supplier portals, Ariba).
Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, document Functional Designs (FDs), and translate them into technical solutions.
Configure complex MM processes including subcontracting, consignment, third-party processing, and stock transport orders.
Map end-to-end business processes using JIRA, Signavio, or similar tools to develop Business Blueprints and manage change requests.
Support and lead testing (unit, integration, UAT), training, and deployment activities across global and regional teams.
Ensure data consistency, compliance with SOX/internal controls, and audit readiness.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for P2P-related integrations and enhancements in SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments.
Mentor junior consultants and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders in IT, procurement, and finance.

Required Skills:
8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP MM and P2P processes in global enterprise environments.
Deep understanding of SAP integrations using IDocs, ALE, BAPIs, RFCs, and SAP Cloud BTP services.
Strong experience with functional specification writing (FDs), solution design, and gap analysis.
Expertise in subcontracting, consignment, third-party procurement, and intercompany purchasing processes.
Proficiency with tools like JIRA or ServiceNow for process mapping, ticket management, and project tracking.
Solid understanding of financial touchpoints (GR/IR, tax, invoice verification) and integration with SAP FI.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps related to purchasing and invoice processing.

Experience with SAP Ariba integration and Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and extensions using SAP Build or CAP.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and SAP Activate framework for project delivery.
Understanding of localization, tax configuration, and compliance in multi-country implementations.
Experience with S/4HANA migration and greenfield/brownfield deployment strategies.
Business process modeling expertise using BPMN tools like Signavio or Visio
