About the Job

We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team onsite in Walton Beach, FL. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting electronic and electrical assemblies to ensure they meet rigorous quality standards. You'll work hands-on with a variety of components including circuit card assemblies, cables, and harnesses, using industry-standard inspection methods and tools.

What You'll Do
  • Perform visual inspections of in-process and completed electronic/electrical assemblies (e.g., SMT, thru-hole, cables, harnesses).
  • Use microscopes, eye loupes, and other magnification tools to assess product quality.
  • Accept, reject, or rework units based on inspection results.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal specifications.
  • Support quality assurance processes using statistical or other control procedures.


Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Skilled in using inspection tools and equipment.


Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic assembly inspection.
  • Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, quality).
  • IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications.
  • IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Instructor certifications (a plus).
  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.


Certifications

IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certifications highly preferred.
