Position Overview: We are actively seeking a Senior React Native Developer to replace an outgoing contractor on their dynamic mobile applications team. This is a critical role in building, scaling, and enhancing customer-facing and internal mobile apps using React Native for both iOS and Android.
The ideal candidate will sit in Bentonville, AR, but remote candidates willing to relocate or work onsite after conversion will also be considered. Please clearly specify availability for onsite or remote in your submission.
What You'll Do:- Design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, including server-side APIs and data integrations.
- Ensure smooth integration between front-end and back-end layers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Implement advanced React features such as hooks, context API, and lazy loading to optimize performance.
- Drive full software development lifecycle: concept, design, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other engineers.
- Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile applications capable of growing with user demands.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Utilize cloud platforms like Azure for hosting, deployment, and resource management.
- Resolve technical issues through debugging, performance tuning, and proactive bottleneck identification.
- Follow best practices for code maintainability, test coverage, and system monitoring.
- Expert-level proficiency in React, React Native, Node.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Deep knowledge of mobile and web application debugging and performance optimization.
- Proven ability to take complex ideas and turn them into scalable, production-ready applications.
- Experience writing effective unit tests, integration tests, and automating QA workflows.
- Understanding of Kubernetes for application deployment and container management.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies like Azure for app scaling and performance management.
- Experience with authentication/authorization frameworks (OAuth, JWT, etc.) for secure applications.
- Strong experience with data storage (SQL, NoSQL, local device storage) and retrieval mechanisms.
- Ability to guide team members in design patterns and best coding practices.
