Job Summary
Design, develop, and implement complex cloud-based solutions. Support cloud infrastructure, applications, and service management. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to define specifications for new cloud-based products and services. Recommend solutions and best practices for business needs.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on cloud solution matters in collaboration with senior staff.
- Support creation of solution architecture and ensure alignment with business strategy.
- Develop, install, and configure solutions including platforms and integration points.
- Design blueprints and deployment policies to meet customer requirements.
- Create solutions using tools, techniques, software, hardware, programming languages, and third-party libraries.
- Develop automated deployment solutions and implement approved updates.
- Create automated functional and integration testing strategies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced team members.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 9+ years of experience in cloud solutions, applications, or related areas.
- Experience with industry or company-developed technology.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, programming languages, scripting, operating systems, and enterprise hardware/software.
- Experience designing, documenting, building, and troubleshooting complex solutions.
- Familiarity with enterprise-wide deployment tools for large organizations.
- Experience with tools such as vCenter Operations, EMC Virtual Storage Integrator, Zenoss, and Spectrum.
- Knowledge of network protocols and platforms such as DNS, BMC, and Oracle.
Preferred:
- Experience with Catalyst or equivalent customer/vendor technologies.
- Background in business environments and competitor products/services.
