Sr. AWS Architect

Key Responsibilities:
Interact & collaborate with customer and application teams to understand requirements, design infrastructure solutions, and implement them using AWS services such as VPC, Compute, Storage, Database, Network, and Security.
Analyze existing AWS Accounts and Landing zone (s) and create new as necessary.
Lead the design and development of Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) components for provisioning AWS resources for data archival and retrieval
Set up API Gateway endpoints to expose the APIs for archive and retrieval
Implement security and access control measures to secure access to S3, Glacier, and DynamoDB.
Ensure encryption at rest and in transit, adhering to MSK s security policies.
Implement logging and monitoring with AWS native services

Qualifications:
Proven experience in AWS services provisioning and infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Python.
Familiarity with security and access control measures in AWS.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Experience with data archival and retrieval processes.
Knowledge of AWS Glacier and S3 storage solutions.

Mandatory & Desired Skills:
10+ years of overall experience, with at least 5+ years in AWS and a minimum of 2+ years in DevOps
Strong understanding of AWS foundation including VPC, Compute, Storage, Database, Network, and Security.
2+ years of working knowledge on Chef or Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools/practices
Understanding of GIT and CI/CD pipelines
Hands-on knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or NodeJS
Strong administration skills in Linux and/or Windows.
