Job Description

Join Our Team as an Electrical Engineering Test Technician!

The Role:

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineering Test Technician who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll play a key part in building, testing, and validating complex electrical and electromechanical systems that power our next-generation material handling equipment. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to bring innovative prototypes to life and refine them into production-ready systems. We value innovative and creative ideas-yes, even during meetings (where snacks are always welcome). If you enjoy tackling challenges with positivity and a bit of humor, you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings to accurately assemble and verify systems.
  • Build wire harnesses, electrical panels, and test fixtures, including crimping, soldering, and routing wires to industrial and OEM standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits on forklifts, test fixtures, and prototype systems using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, continuity testers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Assemble, install, and test complex electrical and electromechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Partner with engineers to support prototype development, wiring optimization, and component selection.
  • Contribute to electrical validation testing by building, maintaining, and upgrading test fixtures and systems.
  • Document test results, wiring changes, and configurations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow and promote safe work practices when working with live circuits, high-voltage systems, and precision electrical tools.
  • Maintain lab organization, calibration, and equipment readiness in alignment with 5S and safety standards.

What We're Looking For:
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience in wiring, fixture builds, or system testing.
  • Proficiency with multimeters, continuity testers, oscilloscopes, and soldering tools.
  • Proven experience building and troubleshooting wire harnesses, control panels, and test fixtures.
  • Working knowledge of CAN bus systems and 12/24/48V DC and AC electrical systems.
  • Experience with forklift, automotive, or similar vehicle electrical systems preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, including schematics, pinouts, and connector drawings.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems (DAQ) and electrical validation testing methods is a plus.

What Sets You Apart:
  • Naturally curious and analytical, with a passion for solving technical challenges.
  • Adaptable and proactive, comfortable managing shifting priorities and multiple projects.
  • Strong technical aptitude and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, organization, and continuous improvement.

Where and When You'll Work:
  • This is an in-person role located at our Greene, New York office-ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Wage - $31.46 - $40.33 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.

Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.

World Class Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary
  • Performance Bonus
  • Generous Paid Time Off and 13 Paid Holidays
  • Affordable Medical plans and no-cost Dental & Vision options
  • 100% 401(k) match up to 6%
  • Company-Paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability
  • Tuition Assistance Program
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with access to mental health care, legal support, and financial guidance
  • Recognition and Kaizen (continuous improvement) Reward Programs
  • Meaningful opportunities for personal and professional development
  • Best in class work culture!
