Job Title: IT Financial Analyst
Job Type: W2 Contract - 12 months
Location: Trenton, NJ
Schedule: M - F, 40 hours per week

The FP&A Analyst supports the financial planning and forecasting process through data analysis, reporting, and business collaboration. This role provides critical insights to guide decision-making, improve financial performance, and ensure alignment across departments.

Position Overview:
The FP&A Analyst supports the financial planning and forecasting process through data analysis, reporting, and business collaboration. This role provides critical insights to guide decision-making, improve financial performance, and ensure alignment across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecasting & Budgeting Support: Assist in preparing and consolidating monthly forecasts, accruals, annual budgets, and long-range plans. Maintain financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic planning.
- Reporting & Variance Analysis: Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets. Identify key trends and provide actionable insights.
- Data Management: Gather, validate, and organize financial and operational data from multiple systems and stakeholders to support reporting and planning activities.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting, procurement, and operations to gather inputs and ensure alignment on financial assumptions.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct financial modeling and analysis to support business cases, investment evaluations, and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline and 5+ years of experience managing financials for IT systems or software products
OR - High School Diploma/GED and 7+ years of experience managing financials for IT systems or software products
- Master s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling; experience with Power BI and SAP preferred
- Ability to manage financials in a complex, global business environment
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate complex business problems into clear financial insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
