Job Details

Role: Audio/Visual Specialist
Location: Location: 100% onsite (Newark, NJ)
Duration: Contract / Full-time

This role is expected to effectively manage and coordinate the smooth running of audio visual and teleconferencing systems for the meetings held in Teams and Teams Live events.

This individual must have background in live production, event, troubleshoot technical problems, and setup equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup Microsoft Teams and Teams Live event on CISCO infrastructure.
  • Install audio visual equipment required for executive meetings and events.
  • Monitor audio visual equipment during high profile executive meetings and events.
  • Conduct live production using audiovisual systems with multiple inputs.
  • Operate and manage audio visual and IT systems in conference and meeting rooms.
  • Prepare setups for webcast, web meetings, webinars, and video teleconferencing.
  • Troubleshoot performance and technical issues related to audiovisual setups.
  • Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades based on emerging technology.
  • Run tests on videos, audio, and signals and troubleshooting any problems that arise.
  • Operate audio mixers, multiple cameras, video switches, and display systems.
  • Monitor new and old equipment to ensure all equipment functions correctly.
  • Carryout any cleaning, maintenance, or repairs on audio visual equipment as needed
  • Maintain a tracking log for items that have been purchased.

Required Skills:

  • Experience installing and setting up Microsoft Teams and Teams Live event on CISCO infrastructure is required.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting audio visual equipment and corporate meetings.
  • Experience installing systems and all necessary materials and equipment, including cabling, wall plates, audiovisual racks, rack components, floor boxes, lectern components, displays, and networks.
  • Strong working knowledge of audio-visual equipment and software.
  • Reading technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Possess attention to detail and flexibility.
  • Good to have Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), or Certified Audio Engineer (CAE), but not mandatory.
